mikeweil Posted April 27, 2004 Report Posted April 27, 2004 (edited) My congratulations to both of you! Ya did it! Beautiful little gal! Be informed that there is a wellknown title figure of a very popular children's book over here, "Die Rote Zora" (Red Zora) - she is the leader of the pack ... what did you say about strong women in the family? connoisseur series500 Posted April 28, 2004 Report Posted April 28, 2004 Just revisited the thread. Thanks for the pics, Jim. Uncle Joe: stop scaring Zora! Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted April 28, 2004 Report Posted April 28, 2004 Jim! You need to know our son will be 34 in 3 weeks and or daughter turned 30 about a week ago. NOW, I lose more sleep now than when they were babies. Quote
maren Posted April 28, 2004 Report Posted April 28, 2004 Jim! You need to know our son will be 34 in 3 weeks and or daughter turned 30 about a week ago. NOW, I lose more sleep now than when they were babies. Ain't that the truth! My son started sleeping through the night when he was 3 weeks old! But years 15 through 20 (he'll be 21 in September) have been another story entirely! Quote
Joe G Posted April 28, 2004 Report Posted April 28, 2004 Just revisited the thread. Thanks for the pics, Jim. Uncle Joe: stop scaring Zora! Man! You guys are just doggin' me! Quote

Jim Alfredson Posted May 11, 2004 Author Report Posted May 11, 2004 Ok, time to rectify the fact that there are no pictures with me and my little sweetpea. I'm also leaving for San Francisco tomorrow until next Wednesday and I know all my co-workers will want to see pictures, but I only have digital pics, so this will serve as my virtual photo album for one and all. First up, the proud pappy with his baby girl! Second, the happy family! Momma's got that glow, doesn't she? I feel so lucky to belong to two beautiful women now! Next, baby and Aunt Kristin who helped me re-decorate Zora's room (ie, the 14 layers of wallpaper episode!) Thanks Kristin! My wife and I call this one the "senior portrait" pose! All Zora needs is some cheesy fake plants and a letter jacket! Hey, it's Uncle Randy!!! Zora made Randy feel so much better after his loss. That's what babies are good for! And finally, little Zora prays for world peace, human equality, and most of all, a million dollars for mom and dad. Such a nice baby! Quote
RDK Posted May 11, 2004 Report Posted May 11, 2004 Great pics, Jim! Thanks for sharing. Reminds me of when my little ones were that young (they just turned three a couple of weeks back). It just keeps getting better and better doesn't it? Quote
bertrand Posted May 11, 2004 Report Posted May 11, 2004 Jim, She is just adorable! Congratulations again to both of you. Bertrand. Quote
rachel Posted May 11, 2004 Report Posted May 11, 2004 Love the Senior Portrait! Cracks me up every time. It's amazing how much she's changed in just a short time. Could you just kiss on that neck forever! BTW... how tall are you Jim?! Quote
maren Posted May 11, 2004 Report Posted May 11, 2004 Aww... Very cute!! Aww... indeed! I mean, what else can you say? I love the "praying for peace + $1,000,000" pose! And Zora's sweet profile being kissed by Uncle Randy... And the whole family! Aww... Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted May 11, 2004 Author Report Posted May 11, 2004 BTW... how tall are you Jim?! I'm about 6'3". My wife is barely scratching 5'1"! My wife is hoping that Zora has some of my Swedish genes! She does have very long limbs and fingers and long feet. Quote
Use3D Posted May 11, 2004 Report Posted May 11, 2004 Wow she has changed alot since i saw her in the hospital. how exciting Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted May 12, 2004 Author Report Posted May 12, 2004 Yeah, I left my digital camera with Alison so she can take a picture of Zora everyday that I'm gone. She is changing so much every day, it's amazing!!! Quote
