Noj
The Grizz really choked last night. I've never seen so many good opportunities squandered. Three players dribbled off their legs on crucial possessions.
Soulstation1
the lakers are favored by 1 point tonight. bet the house, the lakers would really like to win this game. kg had a 20/20 game the other night, he'd run circles around the mailman today. he's one of the few guys i can't "rip on" in the nba man, dirk's outside shot is impressive are the mavs/queens going to 7 games? ss1
Chrome
I can't see the Pistons (or Pacers) winning a playoff series against any of the top 4 West teams. They are totally outmatched in terms of talent. Guy FWIW, the Pistons split with the Lakers, Spurs and Mavs this year ...
jack
The Pacers I don't know. It seems that every year they are in the playoffs. They have good, sometimes unbelieveable comebacks but just don't quite make it.

Hey, all due respect for beating the Lakers and Spurs (how did they do against Sac and Min?) but I can't see them winning 4 in a playoff series. Maybe against the Mavs. Guy
Tjazz
The Rockets hit 10+ three pointers... Isn't that normal for the Rockets? Basketball is pretty simple. If you make your shots, you win. Lakers had plenty of open shots. Then there's Shaq at the free-throw line.
Soulstation1
the lakers will win today "the glove" ain't happy sitting on the bench during crunch time where is rick fox's jumper? the tenderwolves and queens took a major ass kicking last night. celts and knicks are gonna lose today why wasn't phil the coach of the year? chuckyd4
why wasn't phil the coach of the year? Ummm... maybe because his collection of prima donnas and whiners couldn't get their shit together for more than the first and last months of the season. Get Jackson coaching a team for once that doesn't have overpaid all-star talent 6 deep, and we can start to talk about him deserving an award for what he does. Noj
Um, Chuck--the Lakers have four all-star caliber players, not six--and a bunch of role players. I think Phil should have been a serious candidate for coach of the year. The Lakers had tons of injuries and drama but still remained in contention in the toughest conference. Payton did not have an all-star year. Malone was hurt a good percentage of the season. Shaq and Kobe both spent time off with injuries. Devean George had a massive shooting slump. Rick Fox returned from foot surgery and played like he missed a year of hoop (really, he has yet to return to form). Slava Medvedenko and Kareem Rush have been worked into being more active in the offense...this was not a year that an ordinary coach could have handled as well as Phil has. doubleM
Shaq's #'s are down. Luke is O.K., not great, Fish is washed up, Phil (?) I don't think so. Kobe is an (o)ffender.

doubleM
Yes, I sensed some bias, but you didn't include Rick Fox as most improved, so I wasn't sure. It was good to see Malone dominate.

Noj
The Mailman had his biggest game as a Laker. The game was gut-wrenching to watch, with the Lakers blowing a 14 point lead in the 4th quarter. The Lakers had 79 points for what seemed like forever, failing to execute the offense and forcing up bad shot after bad shot. C'mon SS1, I like the Admiral and Turtlehead Duncan--they're class players. I've enjoyed watching Shaq dunk on both of them many times. After this series, I don't like Steve Francis. He's a big mouth. He should be quiet, especially after Kobe humiliated him with a dunk early in today's game. By the way he hacked Kobe IN THE FACE on that one, NO CALL. In crunch time, Big Mouth Franchise should defer to class player Jim Jackson. While I'm talking about players I hate, I hate that sky-pointing hack Doug Christie more than any other NBA player. Next in line is his flopperina partner Vlade Divac. Then there is Christie's clone, Bruce Hack Bowen. If they called half the fouls this guy gets away with while guarding Kobe he'd foul out by halftime. The refs turn a blind whistle and the announcers call it "great defense." After that it's Reggie Miller, even though I'm a Bruin fan and he's pretty clutch. After reading a few disparaging stories about Allan Whiner Iverson, I don't like that cat too much. He's a great scorer, too bad he's such a jerk. You'd think he would realize sooner or later that his style of play isn't going to win in the NBA and adjust to play more like Tony Parker or JKidd. Speaking off Kidd I know he's the best PG in the NBA, but I really hate his stupid kiss-blowing routine at the free throw line. Just friggin' play, you know? Guest akanalog
my fantasy basketball seaosn just ended-my first time playing and it was a 12 team league. i had a good season, ended in second place on a team with no superstars-i was lead by amare stoudmire, stephen jackson, andrei kirilenko and carlos boozer. anyway i made it to the finals of the fantasy playoffs and there was $600 dollars on the line-the finals is a two week accumulation of stats and on the second to last night my opponent called to suggest we agree to share the money 50/50 and call it a season. since i was winning and also owned the tiebreaker i said no and of course, though i lead with one night to go, i lost. he had a great team though-pierce, randolph, francis, marion, walker, ratliff, richardson-i am lucky i was so close. slightly off topic, sorry. also the miami heat are fun to watch but does anyone else feel that odom's fantasy season could end at any time? he has been so good but has such a bad history, i feel it has to end soon. also dwayne wade is so awesome but every game i see of him, he is ending up on the floor writhing i pain. he is a great player but he needs to stop landing so akwardly. i guess he has no J so he is always driving hard-too hard. sheldonm
why wasn't phil the coach of the year? why would he be? To hear all the Laker fans before the season started, they shouldn't have lost a game all year with the additions they bought in the off season. Soulstation1
kobe missed the first game and played in the second. shaq started the season and then missed a few games into the season. the mailman's injury hurt them the most, out about 3 months
