Well, here in San Bernardino, California, it has been in the 100's where I live, for the last 3-4 weeks. It gets no ink because the temp predictions for San B are from a lower location in the city. But,up here it is sweltering every day. And, there is no relief in sight. The ONLY good thing is that it is a dry heat and very little humidity; some but very little.

Be cool, Bruce

Yes, Monday night and Tuesday morning is the forecast for rain here. More rain on Wed and thunderstorms Thursday.

Our rain barrel is dry as a bone.

The lawns are like a prairie ! A cool-off and some rain can't come soon enough..

Cooled off a bit, the temperatures for the last few days have been in the low thirties. Humidity is high but it's preferable to the burning sun.

Have even managed to sleep without AC.

Summer was late this year but the sun is making up for lost time.

Today is supposed to be the hottest day of the heat wave with temperatures expected to hit the 90s°F (35/36°C)!

Not taking a chance and walking around town later today. Staying indoor for the rest of the day!

Smart choice, brownie!

Same here, though it feels like it's getting a bit less hot here ... it was up to 35° now for several days, the apartment is stuffy. I'll escape to the movies again tonight (they're showing "Year of the Dragon"), there it's dark and cool and quiet :)

Brownie's Paris heatwave has extended to here today. An excuse for a pint after work down the road from this (after enjoying the panoramic views from the top).
