Hardbopjazz
Thundering. No rain yet. But the sky is black as can be.

connoisseur series500
Darned hot during the day, and my car is out of freon. I work during the work hours of my favorite auto repair place, so I will have to come up with something. It's a steam bath in my car... LAL
32-33 degrees Celcius all year long, rain or shine. Been raining almost everyday the past 14 months. Very unusual weather. What the...? Do you live in a rainforest? Being 3'08 degrees north of the equator it's within rainforest territory. Used to be tin mining land and rubber estates 35-40 years ago but it's all paved over with concrete and tar now. B)

chris olivarez
53 degrees right now and it has been extremely windy. The forecast calls for some snow tonight but I am kind of doubtful.Springtime in the Rockies-ya gotta love it!!!
sheldonm
65 degrees and raining like hell!!! The weather service has talked about rain for the past several days without a drop.....but it's coming down now. Not complaining, the grass needs it (just as long as it stops by tomorrow)! chris olivarez
It's warming up. Got to 68 degrees degrees today. It was still windy but the wind seemed to be calming down. The weekend weather forecast calls for a high in the mid 70's.
catesta
104 yesterday, 106 today, and we will hit 110 by Wednesday.
sheldonm
In the 70's and very sunny today, but many tornados over the weekend with much damage . Edited June 1, 2004 by sheldonm
chris olivarez
It hit 80 today. Currently partly cloudy and 73 degrees.
catesta
Oh man, did it ever hit 110+ today. It sucks, and so does the air quality, no wind what so ever.

catesta
Say, whatta you know, it's overcast and foggy! Imagine that! I'm begging you, please stop rubbing it in! No clouds, no fog, but we do have temps around 110, with an ever so hot breeze.
Dan Gould
Not quite what Catesta is dealing with, but brutal heat for south Florida. Mid to upper 90s. But at least it looks like its heading down to the usual upper 80s soon.
catesta
What really sucks is when the over night temps here will not drop below the mid 90's to low 100's, that is coming real soon. I think it was 88 when I left the house at 4:50 AM.
RainyDay
Foggy, solid overcast, low 60's in SF. Probably not much warmer in Oakland. This morning it was dark and drizzly. I love this weather, although this time of year it is usually warmer just before the summer doom and gloom.
A Lark Ascending
Nice and sunny last weekend when I was indoors at a jazz festival. Gloomy and rainy on the Monday I went walking in the most beautiful place in the world...the Wiltshire Downs (see pic). Bright and sunny on the day I drove home so was stuck in a car! Damp and gloomy again today. Temperature low for this time of year...as I know to my cost. Brought the wrong sleeping bag with me. Brrrr!!! RainyDay
Bev: Beautiful. You would hate the rolling brown hills and mountains in these parts. Green in the winter and brown by May. Bone dry.
Noj
At least your mountains are green at some point, Rainy--down here in the desert we have year-round brown kindling ready to go up in a firestorm.
RainyDay
At least your mountains are green at some point, Rainy--down here in the desert we have year-round brown kindling ready to go up in a firestorm. We've already had sporadic fires in the Oakland Hills. The landscaping in the freeeway exit I take to go home in the flatlands is scorched down to the ground. Everything dried out early because of the heat wave in March. Very scary. I'm praying for a foggy, cool, summer.
A Lark Ascending
One of the reasons I could never leave England for warmer climes. I'd miss the green. And if you think that's green you should see the west of Ireland!
RainyDay
My great-grandfather was from County Cork and I've always had an interest in Ireland. The Irish countryside always looks so lush and serene.
A Lark Ascending
My Mum's from Athlone smack in the middle of Ireland! Going back for a week in August with her. If you ever get the chance to visit, jump at it. There's a lovely old Irish folk song called 'The Verdant Braes of Skreen'. Says it all. http://website.lineone.net/~cewhitehead2/skreen.htm
