BeBop Posted March 5, 2015 Report Posted March 5, 2015 Gettin' the snow as we speak, a healthy outpouring! Yes, thanks for the little treat during my Dallas week. Quote
paul secor Posted March 5, 2015 Report Posted March 5, 2015 A little more snow last night. Must have been some freeing rain too. My driveway is a sheet of ice. Quote

BeBop Posted March 5, 2015 Report Posted March 5, 2015 We're promised it will be warmer than the Mediterranean here by the weekend. Who made that promise and is it enforceable? Quote
page Posted March 31, 2015 Report Posted March 31, 2015 Stormy tuesday today. We had a touch of Niklas. Quote
paul secor Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 Light covering of snow yesterday afternoon and evening. No more, please. Quote
A Lark Ascending Posted April 10, 2015 Report Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) Well, for once the pundits were right. We've just had 5 days of wonderful weather. Barbecue Spring indeed. Sadly looks as if things will break at the weekend. Edited April 10, 2015 by A Lark Ascending Quote
Tim McG Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 Too hot, too soon. Mid-80s and dry, drier, driest. Ugh. Quote
kinuta Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 Crap, heavily overcast, rain and cold enough for winter kit. Quote
paul secor Posted April 13, 2015 Report Posted April 13, 2015 Sunny, 70 - perhaps Spring is finally here. Quote
sidewinder Posted April 14, 2015 Report Posted April 14, 2015 (edited) Great weather here in Southern UK this week and the temperatures will be cranking up the next few days. Saharan sand has also been blown in, as per usual at this time of year. Edited April 14, 2015 by sidewinder Quote

mjzee Posted May 26, 2015 Report Posted May 26, 2015 All Texas area board members: how y'all doing? The bayous overflowed in parts of Houston; Meyerland got hit pretty bad. We got through it OK - the water filled our street but didn't reach the house. 8 inches of rain fell in 3 hours overnight. Quote
JSngry Posted May 26, 2015 Report Posted May 26, 2015 We're just a few blocks away from the highest elevation point in the entire DFW Metroplex (or so I'm told), so we're in no danger of any major flooding, not like that. But we keep getting the rain, and the yards and fields seem to be in a perpetual state of runoff, down the alleys, out into the streets, into the gutters, and sooner or later, into the rivers and creeks. And woe be unto the depressed area in yards and fields for they indeed have come to resemble rice paddies. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 The next 7 days in Tucson 108/109 every day Guess it's better than snow Quote
A Lark Ascending Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 Rained all weekend...cold this morning but has really warmed up now. Maybe summer is here. Quote
Shawn Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 June gloom is in full swing in Los Angeles (the time of year where the marine layer from the ocean comes over land each morning so it's cloudy until the sun burns it off). After the very mild weather of the past month we are returning to more normal temps for the summer months, will be in the mid-80s all week, cloudy in the morning, sunny in the afternoon. Quote
Tim McG Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 (edited) Hot. Hotter. Hottest. And a drought ta boot. June gloom is in full swing in Los Angeles (the time of year where the marine layer from the ocean comes over land each morning so it's cloudy until the sun burns it off). After the very mild weather of the past month we are returning to more normal temps for the summer months, will be in the mid-80s all week, cloudy in the morning, sunny in the afternoon. I was just down there for the Playboy Jazz Festival at the Hollywood Bowl this last weekend. TBH...the 80s are a Spring day for us. Edited June 15, 2015 by TimMcG Quote

Scott Dolan Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Buddy of mine in Paris said it was 102F there today. Is that entire part of the globe getting hammered?  Been super wet here. Pretty cool for July 1st, though. 73 at the moment. Quote
page Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 There's a bit of 's-s-s steamheat' down here. Staying cool is a challenging task. Quote
