A Lark Ascending Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 Snowdrops are out. Hints of spring in the air today. Quote
BERIGAN Posted February 20, 2014 Report Posted February 20, 2014 (edited) How's the weather? fanfreakintastic!!!! I like 60's in Feb Edited February 20, 2014 by BERIGAN Quote
JSngry Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 76 yesterday, currently 19, predicted overnight low of 11, about a quarter-inch of ice fell this afternoon. But forecast to be in the 70s <10 days. So, no sense to fold up those swimsuits just yet. Quote
Scott Dolan Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 I have over an inch of hard ice on my driveway... Bent my steel shovel last night trying to remove it. Quote
paul secor Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 Cold, but we didn't get the snow that was predicted a few days ago. In fact, none at all. Quote
A Lark Ascending Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 Same here. And my pond is full of bonking frogs. Quote
mjazzg Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 North London carpeted with hailstones. Sky as black as coal. No frogs to be seen...only squirrels, not bonking Quote
BillF Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 Same here. And my pond is full of bonking frogs. Quote
sidewinder Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 A couple of buzzards circling above my house the other morning.. Quote
sidewinder Posted May 17, 2014 Report Posted May 17, 2014 Incredible day's weather - and more of the same tomorrow ! Quote
paul secor Posted May 17, 2014 Report Posted May 17, 2014 Wonderful day. The rain from yesterday ended, the sun was out, high 60s with a light breeze. I'll take a few more like this one. Quote
A Lark Ascending Posted May 29, 2014 Report Posted May 29, 2014 Rubbish. Not seen the sun since Sunday - bucket loads of rain again like in the winter. And the forecast for the future doesn't look promising. Hope it's not shaping up like the summer of 2012. Will have to put the Eddie Palmieri records away. Quote
The Magnificent Goldberg Posted May 29, 2014 Report Posted May 29, 2014 Sun and showers. More of the same to come but mostly dry. I didn't need my coat to take the dog out this afternoon, but I did wear my jacket MG Quote
BruceW Posted May 29, 2014 Report Posted May 29, 2014 Tain't Necessarily So my friend...... A few days ago I needed the heat on in the mornings and late at night and now it is hot as hell (San Bernardino, Calif.) and I am not British... Quote
A Lark Ascending Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 The sun came out at 7.30 last evening. And it's there today. First time in a week. Quote
Tom 1960 Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 Looking forward to a relaxing day here in Northern New England. Temps to be in the low 70's. Great day for open windows and some beach walking. Quote
Shawn Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 Currently 73 degrees and sunny, high temp is supposed to be 77. Quote
papsrus Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 It's Sunday, the air conditioner is on the fritz and it's 83 degrees inside. ... 84 ... Quote
kinuta Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 (edited) It hit 35/95 yesterday and will probably reach 33/91.4 or so today. It's unusually hot but hopefully it should drop back to 27/80.6 or so in a couple of days. We're still a few weeks away from the onset of jungle heat and humidity. It's interesting how many posts use Fahrenheit. Edited June 1, 2014 by kinuta Quote
The Magnificent Goldberg Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 Summer ended half an hour ago - managed to get the washing in beforehand (phew!)MG Quote
