The Magnificent Goldberg
Rained all day yesterday, but lightly. And this morning, too. But seems to be clearing now. Probably optimistic. MG

Son-of-a-Weizen
Now out on Gibson Island in the Chesapeake Bay....heavy rain & high winds!! The beer, vodka and gin supplies running low. May be forced to swim out to the lighthouse just off shore in search of tonic water!!! Neal Pomea
Be careful out there with the remnants of Hanna! In the DC suburbs we didn't fare so bad.

Free For All
I'm kind of curious as to how this whole Hurricane Ike thing is going to play out.
AndrewHill
I'm kind of curious as to how this whole Hurricane Ike thing is going to play out. Hang tight. You never know what you're really in store for until it hits, and it seems that in most cases, its not as bad as it seems. Keep your chin up FFA! A Lark Ascending
Rained all day Friday - major floods (on a UK scale...compared with India, light showers). Wales, West Midlands and the North badly hit. Hope MG is not affected. This is a picture from Birmingham:
kinuta
Extremely humid and unsettled. Heavy thunder storms and monsoon like downpours almost every evening for the last few weeks. Not a single typhoon, which is almost without precedent.
paul secor
Cool with the sun trying to peek through the clouds. Nice to see it after heavy rains from Hanna last night.

sidewinder
A couple of really wet days straight out of Soddom and Gommoragh but last night was almost a Summer clear night sky (heck, I was drinking wine outdoors ) then fierce winds today but no rain. Let's hope that's it for a while !
BillF
Hope MG is not affected. Depends on whether he's in Weston-super-Mare or Africa -_-
A Lark Ascending
Hope MG is not affected. Depends on whether he's in Weston-super-Mare or Africa -_- Well, if he's in Weston-super-Mare his matches will be too damp to cause any trouble this time.
