A Lark Ascending Posted August 3, 2014 Report Posted August 3, 2014 Wonderful weather in Heaven and Devon. Though Friday was very wet all day. Quote
king ubu Posted August 3, 2014 Report Posted August 3, 2014 Crazy weather all of July and continuing ... sun and rain within minutes, hot and humid to pretty cool within hours ... if anyone needs any more proof of climate change, there it is - whole year was weird already - no winter at all (I don't think it was ever below freezing for a whole day), summer was probably what he had in June, but it was way too warm in March already. xybert Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 Absolutely beautiful, feeling very summery in what is technically the last week of winter here. I'm going outside to enjoy it! Quote
BruceH Posted August 25, 2014 Report Posted August 25, 2014 Sunny, warm, and windy the last few days. Also kind of earthquakey this morning. Quote
kinuta Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) If it's the weekend it must be typhoon time. This time we've been assured that this is the mother of all typhoons, we were just kidding last weekend, you really, really must run for your life and so on. Nobody cares at all, there are so many typhoons here that they don't even bother giving them names, just numbers. I just hope it doesn't fell one of the trees outside again. A couple of years ago one went crashing into our next door neighbour's balcony. This one is # 19 this year. Edited October 10, 2014 by kinuta Quote

kinuta Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 #19 won't be a problem, once the beast has passed by the weather returns to normal very quickly. I can barely imagine there being a third one following. Two in two weeks is more than enough. Quote

ejp626 Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Raining and getting colder. It might even snow a bit over night! Looks like a disappointing night for the kids, but we'll go out for a little while anyway. Quote
BbM7 Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Looking forward to (my) first snow of Winter 2014-15, this afternoon and through the weekend. And California needs it. Quote

Shawn Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 There is a slight possibility we could get some rain here in Los Angeles tonight or tomorrow, however they have downgraded the chances about 60% since yesterday. It hasn't rained here for like 8 months. Quote
