Guest Clint-Eastwood Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Hello fellow jazz lovers. Sometime ago, and on a different now defunct board, I mentioned a movie I was hoping to make. Well, the time has arrived. I will be producing, as well as directing the movie on the life of Clifford Brown. I was just wondering what any of you think of this project. I will check back in a day or so for some feedback. Thanks. Clint. Quote

Guest Chaney Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 PS: I loved you in Paint Your Wagon! Quote
AfricaBrass Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 I'd love to see a movie about Clifford Brown. From all I've read, he seemed like a great guy. Quote

Jim Alfredson Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Ah, I haven't banned anyone in such a long time. So much fun. This guy has registered before as "4horsemenoftheapocalypse" from the same IP. Have fun in banned land, troll! Quote
Guest Chaney Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 So you're saying that Mr. Eastwood has registered before as "4horsemenoftheapocalypse"? Quote

Jim Alfredson Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 The IP address only matches "4horsemenoftheapocalypse". Could it be someone we know? Sure. The IP address resolves to a public library in NY, but the address is actually owned by a company in Colorado, so who knows. Somebody has nothing else better to do. Quote
Rooster_Ties Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 (edited) Somebody has nothing else better to do. So, you're saying that Clint Eastwood doesn't have anything else better to do?? Man, that's cold!! Better hope he doesn't try to make your day!! Edited April 13, 2004 by Rooster_Ties Quote

couw Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 (edited) I don't have anything else to do either, but make these shitty photshop thingies. Hope I won't be banned.... Edited April 13, 2004 by couw Quote
Guest Chaney Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Jim, I'm not at all happy that you've banned Mr. Eastwood from this board. I know you're the boss but I must say that this type of action against a Hollywood legend -- DAMMIT JIM! HE'S A STAR! -- just doesn't sit right with me. I won't ask that you surrender your position to your second in command but I believe you owe us ALL an apology. Quote

Obviously the dastardly duo of Chris Albertson and RonF. Quote
Claude Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 I expected the next biographical jazz movie to be "Ravi's Daughter". Quote

AfricaBrass Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Anoushka Shankar is a beauty. Did any of you see the "Concert For George (Harrison)". Her performance was wonderful. Quote
Hardbopjazz Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 (edited) Wow, a real celebrity on the board. I've seen most... well some of your movies. I especially like the one with the chimp. What was that one called? When someone gets banned, he should be able to still post, but be forced to have "I'm Banned" stuck to im. It will be sort of like the scarlet letter. Dmitry Posted April 14, 2004 Report Posted April 14, 2004 Mr. Eastwood, if you're still on this thread, I could play pretty much any white guy, except maybe Serge Chaloff [too ethnic..]. [pm me!] Quote
