Kevin Bresnahan Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago It has been reported that board member Claude Schlouch has died at age 83. Claude was well known for his discographies of Kenny Dorham and Bud Powell and he shared that knowledge with us regularly. I will miss seeing his posts. This is all I could find for a notice: https://www.libramemoria.com/defunts/schlouch-claude/07d95cda5782466190b8425667ff1a3c Quote
EKE BBB Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Very sad news indeed... He also compiled excellent discographies of Doug Watkins, Wardell Gray, Hank Mobley, Ike Quebec, and even Charlie Parker. R.I.P. Claude! Edited 5 hours ago by EKE BBB Quote

mikeweil Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago R.I.P. He did some excellent discographical work. And he was a nice man. Quote
Dan Gould Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Thanks for pulling this out of the other unrelated thread. RIP Claude. Quote
