Wish you could have experienced the 1970's-1990's golden age of WRTI, when it was 24-hour jazz, had the revolutionary "Freedom Sounds" format playing the great music, and then later had great on-air personalities like Harrison Ridley Jr. ("Alrighty, yes indeedy") and Kim Berry playing serious jazz. The past 25 years, where they split the programming between jazz and classical, and sought for a more "popular" mix of jazz, have actually been a pretty big disappointment to me, and I seldom listened in, though my wife still continues to often tune in while cooking dinner.
