Brad Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 I just got a new computer, a HP a430n with Windows XP and I have AOL. I was trying to copy a picture from a site to my computer but nothing was happening. I right clicked on the picture and chose the copy feature but when I pasted there was nothing there. The computer comes with Microsoft Office Picture Manager but I'm having no luck. With my old computer, I had Microsoft Photo Editor and this was never a problem. Do I need to get that? Any suggestions? Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 Easiest way is to right click and choose "Save Target As" or "Save Picture..." and then save it to your desktop or a folder. Once it's actually saved on your computer, then you can open it with whatever you want. Quote
sheldonm Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 I've always had problems posting photographs, that's because I have no idea what I'm doing! Quote

Soulstation1 Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 you should get sweet lou's autograph on that photo ss1 Quote
Brad Posted April 10, 2004 Author Report Posted April 10, 2004 Unfortunately, Jim, that didn't work. When I save it to a folder and then go to open it opens in Microsoft Picture Manager as an "x". There's something that's not working here. Does anyone have any suggsestions. I never had this problem with the Photo editor on my old computer. Quote
sheldonm Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 you should get sweet lou's autograph on that photo ss1 SS1, I have seen LD and Dr. Smith several times since I made the photograph. I gave each of them a photo I made of them and they each signed copies for me; very friendly guys! Mark Quote
