From April 22 to May 8th the bi-annual Gilmore Keyboard Festival will be held at various venues in or near Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. See www.thegilmore.com for a full schedule of classical and jazz pianists. Jazz performances by Ahmad Jamal, Ray Bryant, Harry Connick Jr., Peter Cincotti, Jason Moran and Bandwagon, The Bad Plus, Dr. John, Hilton Ruiz, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Dick Hyman and Bill Charlap, amonst others.
