Not on the BBC, so far the Jackson years have been mentioned but easily as much focus has been on his other work in film, with Sinatra and writing/arranging for big bands etc. I'm impressed by their coverage and hoping for some more in depth as they pull it together. I was at the station this afternoon and informed the local DJ (who plays a lot of jazz on her show - she's a big fan of Abdullah Ibrahim) about his death and she was able to fit in some tunes. I remember Albertson had some very unkind words about Q, but no matter how "difficult" the guy may have been, he left us a big bounty of music to enjoy. ... and, hey! he stuck around to 91!
