Garr was in several movies that I've really enjoyed, even if she only had a bit role, like 1989's "Let It Ride". That movie is a classic. I just love it. The characters are all so real. "Mr. Mom" was another I enjoyed a lot. Obviously, "Young Frankenstein" is up there too. For a while, her presence on the bill almost guaranteed a good time in the theater.

I love Teri as the hash-slinging waitress in this early SNL short, a spoof of paranoid 1950s addiction films.  Music from The Man with the Golden Arm.

That was weak and she didn't bring much to the role either. The music was the highlight and it took three minutes out of a 3:42 short to get to the one punch line that the rehab facility is Maxwell House.

RIP.

No self-respecting (or self-deprecating 😁) geek could fail to recall Teri Garr on the original Star Trek (1968)

TTK, thank you for using the word "ensure."  In my neighborhood, everyone but me says "insure."

But TTK collects monthly premiums! That's why I gave him my CC#.

I already maxed my 13 CCs paying his premiums. I had to change to barter. He's got my wife, four of my ex-wives, nine of my children, and my car.  He only has 47% of my dog, but he'll be shipped down there at the end of the month. Too bad, he's the only one I'd miss.
