Thanks Dan, much appreciated.

As I’m reading the article, about halfway thru I realized I’d just spent more time reading half this article than I had listening to any Chopin in probably 20+ years.

But then, there it was — Roger Sessions’ name popped up halfway thru — and it’s definitely not every day you see Roger Sessions name anywhere! (…other than I’d just listened to Sessions’ 1st, 2nd, and 3rd symphonies last week.)

Anyway, now I’m back to finish the other half of the article — but so delighted was I to see a reference to Sessions, I came right here straight away to mention it. :P

And wasn't there a new Mozart thing found and performed not too long ago?

Yeah, but the Mozart piece was juvenilia (even by WAM standards), so IMO this Chopin piece, if authentic, would be more significant.

Interesting piece, but they should have engaged a  historically informed player on a Pleyel or Erard piano instead of a self indulgent Lang Lang.

It's about "selling" the music than authenticity ....

I know. Sad enough that it is about selling in the first place. But Lang Lang is hard to endure for me.
