East to Wes was my introduction to Emily Remler and I was greatly impressed with it when it was released.

I've had copies of some of the Four Queens tracks, plus another set she did with Larry Coryell there, which hasn't been issued.

Heroin took her far too young at 31.

Hard to believe this music is 40 years old.  My first exposure was Transitions, on Concord, also from 1984.  Always dug the album jacket.  The guitar/trumpet quartet!

The Four Queens Jazz Night From Las Vegas collection at UNLV should also include a broadcast that she did with Larry Coryell.

There is also a Jazz at the Manchester Craftsmen's Guild broadcast by Emily Remler, where she plays solo, with a trio and in a duo.

I have both of these shows and I imagine that additional material was recorded that was not aired in both instances.

Cisco is apparently a Willis Jackson tune called Gator Whale and not the tune recorded by Pat Martino and later by Emily and Larry Coryell (as Gerry's Blues)

Again, I have yet to hear the CD but the poster seems reliable.
