GA Russell Posted September 25 Report Posted September 25 I am currently looking at two CD releases of Percy Mayfield singles. The first is on Jasmine. The other is on Acrobat. Do either of these labels have a reputation of being better than the other? https://www.amazon.com/Lost-Love-1947-1962-RECORDINGS-REMASTERED/dp/B01KO9GBXQ/ https://www.amazon.com/Singles-Collection-1947-62-Percy-Mayfield/dp/B07RH67W4Q/ Thanks! felser Posted September 26 Report Posted September 26 Acrobat does an excellent job of laying out discographical info. I tend to prefer them to Jasmine, but both do well in audio terms using the standards of European PD labels and the age of the material. You won't go wrong either way. I do believe Acrobat discs are CD-R's at this point. I have not purchased any Jasmine product in several years, so can't speak to that aspect of their discs. Quote
