Exactly. How does Amazon log sales from, for example, sales to US buyers by, for example, Amazon Italy?

If the Amazon Italy price is so much less simply due to exchange rate, that's one thing. But if there's another factor(s) involved, that would be interesting. Like if the deal with the estate pays a different royalty on EU sales than US sales or something like that.

EU is a single market, the goods bought through amazon.it are not necessarily invoiced by "amazon Italy" (normally EU amazon purchases are invoiced by their head Luxembourg office) or shipped from Italy. Amazon automatically tracks where the goods go for VAT collection purposes, so they might share this information with Sony Europe. The low price has nothing to do with exchange rate of course, this is most likely a mistake that will be corrected pretty soon. These happen with amazon from time to time - I guess many here bought Billie Holiday Complete Columbia set for $17 at amazon.com in 2001.

They don't seem to have discs 5&6 up(yet).  Maybe Sony wanted to make sure you had to buy the cds to hear the whole set.  Or maybe Spotify just doesn't like Wayne.

Spotify often does have partial albums or sets (which I assume is because the owners want to leave something to the imagination so you will shell out to get the complete work) but those usually show the omitted items greyed out.

Possibly 5&6 have somewhat different ownership and someone said no?

FWIW, I can see discs 1 through 5, 35 tracks, playing time 5 hours 46 minutes.

Looking more closely, it appears that this is the full contents of the 6 CD set. However, they have assigned every concert to one "Disc" in the Spotify album, even when they are distributed across more than one disc in the physical set.

You're right.

How does the limited edition differ from regular?

https://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/SICJ-334

As Kevin noted, it's the same with some extra external Japanese material.

I guess that copies to cdjapan were limited--it's no longer available for sale. All my other volumes of the Bootleg Series are the Japanese, so I'm happy to have this one.

wish I'd seen this! out of stock, and in the US it is still showing at $80.

$59 + $3 shipping, and use coupon "THANKS10" to save 10% (see their home page), so will be $56 total.

Just got my copy from Italy, for 25 Euros its fine but would not have been happy paying £70 for this, its as cheap and flimsy as they come, at least the previous large multi disc digipaks felt sturdy and used nice material, this just reeks of cost cutting in every department!

Looks like amazon.it realized its mistake. price is up around 70 euros now.

Just received today my set ordered from amazon.it. Shipped from Germany. Agree that packaging is not great. The cds are in those bifold cardboard holders with the open slits facing each other on the inside fold. To remove a disc I have to squeeze the top and bottom of the sleeve to allow space for my fingers to reach in to slide the cd out.
