I recently saw her in the Jim Jarmusch movie Night on Earth. She was terrific.

I just saw this on the TV and learned that I had been mis-pronouncing her first name all of these years. I always thought it was pronounced Geena but it's actually pronounced Jenna.

Her performance in "The Notebook" was pretty incredible. So sad that she had to go through that in real life a few years later.

A few years back, we binged most or all of her films with Cassavetes.  Opening Night is a real favorite.
