The V-Discs have been reissued all over the place for years, and the Vanguard material deserves to be reissued in an organized way. Â No mention is made of any complications regarding their use, or of needing approval from the government. Â Indeed, the credits mention "Episode #29 of AFRS Jubilee is newly transferred by United States Library of Congress." Â Maybe the government simply doesn't care anymore.
