A terribel lost ! 

He was so busy here in Austria most of all at Graz where he taught. He was very often working in my country. 
The first time I saw him was with Curtis Fuller at Jazzland.

Strangely, the New York Times never did their usual obituary for Jim. Does anyone know why? Was it because Jim had relocated to Austria for many years prior to his death?
