JSngry
I think it's safe to say that Bobby always looked sharp.
ghost of miles
Man, I’d forgotten what a strong record Happenings is. Relishing this set, which is inspiring me to revisit some other mid-1960s Blue Note records that I haven’t spun in many years. That particular era of the label sremains a sweet spot in my love of jazz.

For whatever reason I remembered Happenings to be a little slight, and Oblique to be the stronger of the two. I found that I had it completely flipped. There's some very deep & outre stuff on there! jazzbo
I've always preferred Oblique (Stinson pushes it over the edge for me) but I love Happenings as well.
hopkins
The sound quality of this Hutcherson set is really good. I don't have any of the LPs to compare to, but compared to some of the previous CDs, the sound is much more pleasant.
BFrank
A nice collection all the way around. An fitting tribute to both Bobby and Cuscuna.
