Log in with mail adress ?????

Dear friends, I´m back after 17 days in Dominican Republic, and since I don´t post only from at home, but also from another place (other e-mail-adress) I always could log in with my nick and my password, and now the system want´s my mai adress and my password, I don´t understand that, how can I do log in as usual from any PC ?

this was a change on last upgrade, that you had to use your email not your screen name going forward.  Its been quite a while since this changed, actually. I am guessing three months or more.

 

I imagine you didn't notice this because you had the log in cookie recognizing you whenever you did come here.

This became the way you had to log into the forum after the 2022 software update. I think Jim posted about that somewhere but I cannot find it at this time.

It's supposed to make it harder to hack into your account.

So my guess of three months or more since the change was accurate.

I am actually really surprised that Gheorge never had this come up before.
