Thanks but not exactly what I meant. Was looking for similar songs from other artists.

A friend of mine who's getting into jazz asked me about it and I rec'd Clifford Jordan's song John Coltrane as something kind of similar.

Although the same composition the "latinized" version by Conrad Herwig on "Que Viva Coltrane" is great ....

Thanks! I was searching for possible tracks from Tyner and Jones but wasn't having any luck. The Pee Wee is good too, bc that's definitely off the radar.

It's credited to Coltrane and the liner notes explain that it's also known as "Miles' Mode".

I need to dig around and see when it was first credited to Dolphy; as far as I know, it is his tune.
