These are great. Along with Drake / Parker, who you mention up-thread, these cover half my record collection. 

Did Holland / Altschul play with others other than Braxton?

Maybe obscure and they also performed as a trio, but any recording including 2 or more from (Masabumi Kikuchi piano, Masahiko Togashi drums/percussion, Gary Peacock bass) is worth hearing IMO.

After leaving the Ramsey Lewis Trio, drummer Isaac "Redd" Holt and bassist Eldee Young formed the Young-Holt Trio in 1966 with pianist Don Walker.  

Later, they replaced Walker with Ken Chaney and changed their name to Young-Holt Unlimited.
