Mets at Milwaukee won't be easy for them, and KC is in a major swoon that they are running out of time to reverse. I sincerely hope that Hinch is viewing this, being able to build a core of kids as a group (literally, most of the rookies have come up together through the minors) as a personal cleansing of that shitshow he had in Houston. We'll see what happens going forth, both in the post-season and in the years hence/Hinch, but unless/until it gets dark, all I can say is that I stumbled into this team because mine died early, came back for Jason Benetti, and started noticing a bunch of kids I had never even heard of playing crisp baseball that only got crisper the deeper into the season they went. Arizona needs a sweep from either team to get in. If it's a sweep, it's the winner of said sweep and Arizona, and the loser goes home for the offseason. If it's a split, Arizona is out and both the Mets and Braves are in. Good drama for the last day of regular-season play! The odds seem long on a sweep frankly and it is surely a disadvantage for both teams (if there is a split) to have to play two games and then go on the road for a 2 out of 3 elimination series.
