What do I think? I think there's too much capitalization there, that's what I think! Quote
Teasing the Korean Posted February 21 Report Posted February 21 I'm getting this. Nina's Colpix albums are in my experience hard to find, and when you find them, they are often trashed. Quote
Teasing the Korean Posted June 9 Report Posted June 9 So, has anyone picked this up? A one-star Amazon review reads as follows: "All of these CDs were pressed using sub subpar, highly compressed, lossy digital files that don't come close to approaching the dynamic and frequency range of CD quality. Poor bootleg quality presentation." Quote
felser Posted June 9 Report Posted June 9 I own the set, it sounds great and is beautifully presented. That review is utter nonsense, I would bet it's for a different item. Quote

tranemonk Posted July 5 Author Report Posted July 5 I've finally gotten around to listening to this set and I really like it. It's presented in a way that's similar to those Black Saint/Soul Note boxes that came out a decade or so ago. It was a fantastic price with many (seemingly) unreleased takes. . Quote
mikeweil Posted July 6 Report Posted July 6 All the "unreleased" tracks were on the CDs Michael Cuscuna produced for Roulette twenty years ago. I have them all and compared track listings. But back then only few people took notice. Quote
