Anyone else do the "see games in as many ballparks as you can" thing?

I've attended MLB games at:

Tiger Stadium

Comerica Park

Wrigley Field

Old Comiskey

New Comiskey (or whatever it's called now)

County stadium (saw McWire hit a homer there on his way to 70)

Memorial Stadium (saw the 1979 playoffs and World Series)

Cinergy Field

Tropicana Field

PNC Park

I'm aiming to add the Jake to the list this summer.

You the man! Come to SF sometime and see a game in Pacbell Park (or whatever they're calling it now.) The new ballpark downtown. It's right by the water; you'd love it!

Tonight in the Dodgers-Cubs game Alex Cora had an 18 pitch at bat against Matt Clement. Clement is the type that might throw 18 pitches in three innings but Cora just kept fouling pitches off. I think Clement got to the point where he couldn't handle it anymore and maybe grooved one in there hoping that Cora would either put in play or strike out. Cora hit into the right field bullpen scoring himself and another team mate.

Clemens may be 7-0 but Piazza got some more revenge by denying him his eighth. Metsies are looking good, pulling another out of the hat tonight. Whoda thunk they'd only be one game under 500 at this point in the season :excited:

First game of the season no-no was Bob Feller, AKA Rapid Robert(This is also a good piece of trivia, as it's the only time in baseball history that a team ended a game with the same batting average as at the start of the game.)

July 4th no-no was Dave Righetti in Yankee Stadium against the Bosox, now pitching coach for the Giants(He struck out Wade Boggs to end the game.)

And no doubt if he wants to play next year, he will have to sign a minor league contract, and win a job again...amazing what he is doing at 46!

And after acting like they were doing him a big damn favor letting him play for them in spring training(We need a young team here in Tampa Bay!) a complete lack of offense made them think a guy 7-17-01colorsub-mcgriff.jpg who is now just 8 short of 500 homers might not be such a bad idea after all....even if he is 40!

I can still remember when I was actually YOUNGER than the players ... now I think it's just Franco and Clemens ... how depressing.

Makes you root a little harder for the old guys, doesn't it? They're now ALL ounger than me, but I root hard for the old codgers that are defying Father Time and enjoying a boy's game(The pay's pretty good, too.) I hope somebody brings back Rickey Henderson this year, too.
