Kevin Bresnahan Posted December 20 Report Posted December 20 I would think that if there were some sort of benefit to subscribing, there might be more subscribers. I subscribe to another forum that has ads. Subscribers don't see the ads. Maybe not pertinent here, but an idea to think about. Since this is a music forum, maybe have some kind download available only to subscribers? Quote
Dan Gould Posted December 20 Report Posted December 20 Right now the subscriber model is only a pledge for a certain amount that pledgers were presumably going to donate in 2025 anyway. I think ideally the subscriber donation should be lower but that necessitates more of us. Not sure we get to 38. Quote

jazzcorner Posted December 20 Report Posted December 20 (edited) I would prefer to repair the donation tab so I can mail a donation when I have free cash which is not alway the case. For this year a little additional "St. Nick" is possible. ;-]]  Done!!! Happy holidays W.B. Edited December 20 by jazzcorner Quote

I'll look into that some more. That was nice when it was working. Anyway, my PayPal is b3groover@hotmail.com Thanks! I'm in Japan - tried sending direct the other day, but PayPal won't let me. The Donations tab would seem to be the answer ... Quote

I bet it was some time ago) Strongly agree with Niko about not requiring a subscription to post. I'm happy to commit to a $50/yr model and to set up an automatic annual deduction, but as Niko points out, it's already difficult enough getting any new blood here without adding a mandatory user fee for anybody who wishes to contribute to the discussion.
