THE DOORS - "Live In Detroit"

- Heard some good things about this Rhino/Bright Midnight release. It's the entire show and the sound is very good, too. This is a keeper (if you're a Doors fan).

Is that the Mosaic box?

I haven't bought anything since Friday. . . which was the newly remastered version of Bob Weir's "Ace" and the cd "Soundtrack" set of the Grateful Dead "Closing of Winterland" stuff.

Just bought a couple of Candids:

-"Max Roach: We insist! Freedom now suite" (I previously had a CD-R and needed a copy of this masterwork)

-"Newport Rebels" (Little Jazz side by side with Dolphy and Knepper in one track!!!)

And Von Freeman´s "The great divide" on Premonition Records.

Also a couple of DVD´s:

-"The sound of jazz"

-Duke Ellington: "The big band feeling"

Have you listened that We Insist through yet? Can yet hear any snaps & cracks through the whole album? They must have transferred the whole album from vinyl without editing...

Found all four of the French jazz piano collection that were reissued in 1991 and which have been OOP practically ever since they came out. These were reissues of the rare 4LP 'Piano Puzzle' recorded for Saravah back in 1970.

The four discs are by Georges Arvanitas, Michel Grailler, Rene Urtreger and Maurice Vander, each of whom are featured on a single album! Great stuff!
