Norma Winstone - Edge of Time (Argo, 1972)
2012 Wah Wah Records (Barcelona, Spain) reissue

I was surprised to see a US-based seller on Discogs offering this LP for a very reasonable price -- so I jumped on it.  :)

Last summer, I had a chance to visit Wah Wah Records in Barcelona and picked up their vinyl reissue of Neil Ardley's A Symphony of Amaranths.  It was beautifully done, so I'm looking forward to hearing this Norma Winstone LP.

That's the edition I have, you'll not be disappointed I'm sure. Good find

A lot of music by someone I don't know, Manuel Zurria

It was a recommendation from a trusted source on X and I do nearly always love new and contemporary music composed for flute

That looks very interesting.  I'd love to hear your impressions after you've had a chance to absorb the music.

Thanks, I'll try and remember. I usually wait for the CDs to arrive rather than listen to the download so may be a week or so

Dipping gingerly into buying a few downloads of titles I'll never see on CD.  Today was 'Lookout Farm' , the great ECM album by Liebman, Beirach & Co. (they never came close to this again), and 'All That's Good', the obscure 1964 Freddie (Frederick on this release) Roach album on BN.  Not classic but certainly interesting.
