Warne Marsh: All Music/Nessa LP (Hey, my first Nessa!!)

Just picked, for 6.50 EUR each:

-The swinging guitar of Tal Farlow

-Anita O´Day-Carl Tjader: Time for 2

on the Verve by Request series.

In fact, I have planned to acquire de Tal Farlow Mosaic but, for 6.50 EUR, I just couldn´t resist. I´ll enjoy this one for now, and sell it when I buy the Mosaic.

The Hi-Lo's - Now Hear This

I saw them in Atlanta about ten years ago, and they still sounded fantastic! Sad to say, one of them died about 2002. I don't know what Gene Puerling is doing to keep himself busy now. Maybe they are all just retired.

First purchase in a really long time:

Gianni Gebbia: Arcana Major/Sonic Tarots Session

Please let us know what you think of this one (probably The Rat will be the most appropriate place for it)!

Sorry, I backed out -- just not ready to get back into the jazz thing yet. :(

I'm in Houston for computer training, stuck at the hotel with no car. Walked to the mall last night, found a music store. It was about 80% rap music, but I found Stan Kenton's Cuban Fire in the $5 bargain bin.
