Thanks for the info, Bob. Quite a lot of overlap there. I think I'll stick with my little collection, perhaps adding a CD or two to it in the future. Quite a bit of the material was reissued over here on vinyl by Verve in the 1970s - especially the stuff with Sonny Criss and Sweets Edison. Philips also reissued 'Big Swing Face' - so I already had lots of this set on the black stuff. Good for the I-Pod though !
BillF
Have never owned this before on CD, having bought it on vinyl on its release in 1960 and parted company with it a few years later. At £2.74 including shipping for an as-new copy, can't go wrong! (Channel Islanders, of course!)

golfcrazy1984
Got a relatively "good" deal on "The Complete Roulette Maynard Ferguson", the bands he had were GREAT. Also, great audio quality. I had to pull the trigger on this set sooner or later. Also, I have the Holman and Russo Kenton Mosaic set coming this week!!! I'm catching up on sets that I missed out on in the 90s, because I was too young to be hip to Mosaic. Also, looking forward to the Coleman Hawkins Mosaic coming out Also have been on an Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis kick lately and have purchased an Arnett Cobb and Lockjaw session, also got the Complete Cookbook sessions from Solar, I had one session already, but felt it would be a good deal to get the set. LOVE LOCKJAW!!! He must have been INTIMIDATING on the band stand!
