The Magnificent Goldberg
V.A. - Roy Milton's Miltone Records (Acrobat) Hey, that one looks interesting! What period does it cover? This came yesterday, and it's thanks to Noj for letting me know this was around still. And it's a WOW! Now I REALLY want a Mosaic covering the complete Decca period! jostber
V.A. - Roy Milton's Miltone Records (Acrobat) Hey, that one looks interesting! What period does it cover? ... This should cover the period in the late 40's when the label was operative. I am not sure of the precise time frame(1946-1950?). This comes with 56 tracks, and a 36 page booklet. The tracks are here: http://www.play4me.com.au/product/roy_milt...56197_3974.html I ordered it from Red Lick Records: http://www.redlickrecords.co.uk/

EKE BBB
Dado Moroni: With Duke In Mind (Jazz Connaisseur) I was going to ask if you had managed to find this Jazz Connaisseur disc for a reasonable price, but then I realized you live in Switzerland. I have paid high prices for all the Jazz Connaisseur CDs I've bought, directly from the label or from www.puppyjazz.com.

Not quite reasonable, because in Switzerland in brick-and-mortar shops you easily have to pay CHF 32 to 37 for a jazz cd, unless there is a special sale (e.g. Blue Notes). This one cost me CHF 34.50. Thanks, Tommy T. Guess you'd buy cheaper from PuppyJazz or even from the Jazz Connaisseur website. And it's hard to find those CDs anywhere else! mikelz777
Just purchased from Newbury for 29.99 : That's a pretty good little bargain and well worth it. I really dig it. There's a good variety of different groups and some really nice stuff in this box set. Recommended and definitely a keeper!

mikelz777
Buck Owens - 40 Greatest Hits This one scratched my most recent country itch. (Can't say I'm in love with the cover.) I bought this one over much more expensive collections or combinations of single discs figuring that as much as I dig this stuff, 2 discs and 40 Buck Owens hits would probably be all of the Buck Owens I would really need.
