Prices seem to get a little more reasonable too. These items were all on my 64 piece wantlist so I felt very lucky. And I didn’t make even one impulsive buy. The discipline of me. I’m getting better at these things. I'd love to go to Den Bosch but not too sure I could be so disciplined as you @Pim Some great stuff there, the Jefferson is terrific, do you know the one that Sam Records reissued? It's an absolute gem. Quote

I'm going to spin it again before deciding where it sits with reference to the original. I do know that I like Calderazzo's piano playing quite a bit, so at least that's not a problem in comparison. Your recommendation brings back my memory: I saw it a few months ago on the Sam website and it sparked my interest 9 hours ago, Holy Ghost said: Wow. Never even heard of that Taylor/Murray title. Regret selling the Rene Thomas CD, but I needed to sell off part of my collection to survive while in college back in the 90's. No Cecil Taylor on that one it’s actually Jimmy Lyons and Sunny Murray with John Lindberg on bass. Intense and highly recommended music! Quote
