It's not like she was advocating for anything other than her boyfriend's team. The way I see it, she brought a lot of new football viewers, particularly young women, which can only be a good thing for that sport, which has a history of being pretty misogynistic. And you really think those "new football viewers" are in it for the long haul, or is that until Swift breaks up with him? Sorry I think you have a better chance of bringing new listeners to jazz thru Kenny G then you do of new fans of football thru Taylor Swift and her never ending relationship woes. Speaking of, why exactly would someone want to date her at this point? Don't you have to know you will be the subject of her poison pen sooner or later? Quote

Speaking of, why exactly would someone want to date her at this point? Don't you have to know you will be the subject of her poison pen sooner or later? My daughter started watching football back in 2001 when the Patriots won their first Super Bowl and she has become a bigger fan than I am. She loves watching the game. I think that the NFL getting more women to watch their sport can only benefit the league going forward. And let's be honest here - a majority of the hatred for Taylor Swift has nothing to do with her new relationship with Kelce and a lot more to do with other aspects of her life which cannot be spoken of here. Not necessarily so because the Chiefs would have played it differently. 7 hours ago, Dub Modal said: The first 3 quarters of that game were brutal to watch. Thankfully things picked up in the 4th and OT. Had the Niners won, game ball should have gone to special teamer Chris Conley who absolutely balled out. I don’t know about that. He was also the one whose foot touched the ball on the botched punt. Quote

Dub Modal Posted May 1 Report Posted May 1 These rookie QBs will be interesting to follow as they develop. I'd lean bust on most (esp Penix and Nix) but Williams is set up with some high grade fire power in Chicago and could be very good. Quote
Kevin Bresnahan Posted May 1 Report Posted May 1 I've become a Patriots season ticket holder this year. My daughter is ecstatic and can't wait for the season to start. I am not sure what to make of them drafting Drake Maye with the 3rd pick. I was really hoping they'd draft Marvin Harrison Jr. as I think he'd make any QB, including newly re-signed Jacoby Brissett, look good & I think he'd bring some electricity to the team. Quote

Kevin Bresnahan Posted May 1 Report Posted May 1 (edited) I was able to get these because a friend's brother-in-law decided to give his up and the Patriots let him transfer the tickets to me. Edited May 1 by Kevin Bresnahan Quote
GA Russell Posted May 1 Report Posted May 1 Great! I didn't know NFL teams allowed such transfers. Quote

Not a Pats fan but I thought they'd snag Harrison too. They're in need of a receiver and him or Nabers would have been a nice pick up. Quote

I got the distinct impression that in the college game they weren't doing the measurement thing nearly as often as before? Just a total eye-ball it and say its a first down kinda thing. Anybody else notice this? Did the NCAA send a memo out? Quote
Dub Modal Posted May 23 Report Posted May 23 It's about time. Obnoxiously old school when the NFL has just about everything on the field recorded. Quote

It has been referred to as a Christian or conservative version of The Onion. We really don't Babylon Bee shit in an NFL discussion. Edited August 31 by Kevin Bresnahan Quote
