You are right, there is no rational explanation for my interpretation! Watching these spectacular images  just reminded me that we "should not mess with mother nature", as we are doing now.

Nature is by its very...uh....nature, very humbling!

There's a lot of talk going on now about humans are destroying Earth. I find that to be the height of arrogance - Earth will destroy us!!!!

As far as volcanoes go, I don't know the science to say, but in general, yes, absolutely!

My wife and I were at the part of Iceland 6 years ago.  At the time there was just steam coming up from the ground/ice.  Didn't seem dangerous. Shows what I know.
