There’s a whole bunch of regional funk cd comps that are outstanding (not every single track, mind you, but lots of great stuff). I’ve got about 6-7 of them, all on the same label — I’ll have to look later at home.  Legit 70’s stuff, often early 70’s — small label, some by bands that only ever did singles (iirc).  Good stuff.  Got ‘em all from Dusty, or used a couple other places.
