Luigi Texidor "Criollo Soy" (Nuestra Records) 1979 .... after Luigi Texidor left Sonora Ponceña he was replaced (also) by Miguelito Ortiz .... who returns the favor as coro singer here ....

I think you posted this upthread, which was my introduction to this LP. Its become a fast favourite since then. Thanks for the recommendation.

I love a list, as they make a great way to get acquainted with things you've missed (although I never cared for the ranking part). Thanks for sharing.

Willie Rosario had a string of outstanding LP's from the later 70's onwards, but this may be his finest hour ....
