So - Let rip. New York, Puerto Rico, Cali, wherever. 

I'll start with the record that got me into salsa and Latin music in general:

Sonora Poncena "La Clave" (Inca Records)       1976 .... the voice of Luigi Texidor and the piano of Papa Lucca woven with almost surrealistic horn arrangements .... wow ....
