medjuck Posted October 15, 2023 Report Posted October 15, 2023 (edited) Went to an exhibit entitled "Jean-Michel Basquiat: King Pleasure" in LA last week. Though I could find no reference to the singer King Pleasure in the show or its catalogue there were several painting about jazz musicians who were Basquiat's heroes, and one whole room devoted to only paintings referencing musicians. I took photos of some of them. 18 minutes ago, medjuck said: Went to an exhibit entitled "Jean-Michel Basquiat: King Pleasure" in LA last week.
