Defiant Jazz was the playlist Helly picked as a reward in Apple TVs Severence. That playlist then showed up on streaming platforms last year. Good set and awesome to hear McPhee getting promoted like that.

Actually, it may have only been on Apple Music since the show was on Apple TV.

I found the lists on both Spotify and Apple, but it dos not seem to be readily easy to copy and paste the list.

that show is incredible. Looking forward to the new season when it appears.

McPhee is a Poughkeepsie native & that album was recorded (partly) at Vassar College, so the geographical placement was highly appropriate (the show is filmed in the Hudson Valley).

Didn’t put 2 & 2 together on geography there but definitely interesting and appropriate!
