Stefan Wood Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 Nice find. They are all top notch musicains -- if there is no label, it possibly could be Tico, Alegre or even Fania records (60s' music). Quote
Guest ariceffron Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 well im not convinced its actually those artists yet but unlike all the other lps the prerez prado one actually has his name on it Quote
JSngry Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 I was thnking RCA-related, since Prado & Puente had such a long relationship w/the label, but who knows? Prado's pretty hard to miss, what with all the vocal insertions. You ought to send a letter to that address and ask the current box holder if they know anything about this. They probably don't but what have you got to lose besides 36 cents? Quote
Jazzmoose Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 They probably don't but what have you got to lose besides 36 cents? Well, for one thing, the other penny for the 37 cent stamp... Quote
JSngry Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 No wonder my letters don't get answered. Quote
Guest ariceffron Posted April 3, 2004 Report Posted April 3, 2004 i dont think a 1950s or 60s po box would still be active???!?!??! Quote
JSngry Posted April 3, 2004 Report Posted April 3, 2004 (edited) It might be. Just use the central Newark PO instead of a more modern substation. The box is most likely still active if the post office is still there.. The question is who the boxholder is... Yeah, it's a waylongshot, but for 37 cents, why not?
