Organissimo Root Site Down? Only Getting in Thru bookmarked New Content page

I'll probably post on the FB group too but what is happening with Organissimo.org?

Anyone going thru the main site can't get to the forum, and you won't get thru to organissimo.org/forum.

I have the forum site bookmarked on all devices. So far, that always works as long as the serveri s up.

That actually did work which still seems odd to me as modern browsers go where they should without the https and when I did I was getting same maintenance message as main webpage.

The added S is a secure site thing. It only seems the be a requirement for some sites. No idea why that is.

www.organissimo.org has been a dead link ever since that last big software upgrade going back about a year ago. I don't know how anyone can get here if they don't already know about it.

Not that it matters, but that main page hadn't been updated in years prior to it going down.

It may be for Jim's busy working schedule and organissimo no longer being his only or central musical endeavor. 

The bookmark that JSngry posted always works for me, btw.

Can someone contact the board software person and have them institute a simple redirect for www.organissimo.org to automatically kick it over to www.organissimo.org/forum? That is a pretty simple thing to do. Right now, if one of us gets onto a new PC and doesn't remember this forum's address, although a few guesses should suffice, they might never make it back.

Also, it's hard to send someone here to try to get them to join up when the parent site is dead. It's a bit of a bad idea to click around a dead site. You never know what might lurk in the scripts.

To this topic, Jim has posted on Facebook that the person who was re-doing the main organissimo webpage died suddenly & unexpectedly & she hadn't given him the login to go in a get the page back up. Hopefully he can get it working again.

If anyone knows web design & wants to help, just message him.

This is still happening. It's too bad that the main site is totally dead.
