Curtis Fowlkes has died at age 73

A founding member of The Jazz Passengers, trombonist Curtis Fowlkes has passed away from congestive heart failure. I first heard him with the Lounge Lizards. He also worked with Charlie Hunter, Roy Nathanson, Don Byron, Bill Frisell and many others.
