I was trying to delete a message I started and was given the option to delete it... without knowing it would delete the group. Is there anyway to save it? Signed, Very Troubled. Quote

Before he left the board the late Chris Albertson deleted quite a few of his threads when he got upset by a few members. I did the same with one of my threads years ago and was told it could not be restored. Once deleted = gone forever. Quote

Not terribly aware of the granular tech specifics, but barring a matter of national/world/interplanetary existential security and/or heinously felonious activity, it seems to be not do-able without some seriously heavy/expensive tech-lifting.
