What really grates with me is to be asked to pay for final shipping as 'delivery is imminent' then nothing further happens for weeks on end and still no word.

Sharp practice at best. Certainly not something I would expect of a supposedly reputable US seller.

That last email was sent out July 3 !

I'm pleased I didn't go for this now, having bought four of the series from DG I think that's enough for me.

If I'm honest from what I've heard the quality of the recordings and some of the music too isn't up to much further investigation on such a big scale.

For those of you who are all in I hope it turns up and you feel differently about the product.

I’m somewhere between felser and sidewinder on this. Yes it’s a small company doing awesome projects. That’s why I like supporting them. I have good faith everything is gonna be alright. But they could really improve their communication and it might help to stop making promises that will be broken eventually. What’s the point of asking for payment of shipping fees if you’re not shipping the product in the coming 3 months? I could have used the money for other stuff in the meanwhile….

They're probably using yours and other's shipping money to fund the next production run, small one-person (?) endeavour, big project

Finally got around to another volume in this series, 6.  (I’d already listened to volume 1.)

This music is just great. Hard to believe that for all intents and purposes they were “just a local band” having a good night on stage.

just checked the Nimbus West site & looks like we have some progress - final discs have arrived but waiting for covers

We just received the discs and expect the covers to soon follow... Tracking info will be delivered via email as soon as your order ships.

I really want to complain about the time this series has taken but I still haven’t absorbed the music I have already. At least it’s not lost money and we will get it eventually. And so far the releases are quality in music and packaging.

Haven't gotten anything at all and all email inquiries have been ignored since the September survey email.

Paid 225 fancy US greenbacks on July 16, 2023.

Feeling like that's money I won't see back.

Been a while since I've been taken for a ride like that.

I'm sorry (and surprised) to hear that.  I also pre-paid, and have received all except the final three installments, and they have been good about answering my email inquiries (though it's been a year at lest since I contacted them).  I hope they do right by you.  I don't remember a September survey email.

Some of the replies on this thread lead me to believe that there's still hope.

I'll send another check-in and see if anything comes back.

Feels reasonable to expect some response, even if it's just boilerplate.

For what it's worth, the survey was asking whether to ship now, wait for now and be emailed again after the next batch, or wait until the end.

I chose to wait for now, thinking I'd have them ship the next batch and then each following until the end.

That was September 2023.

If you paid with a credit card, you should dispute the charge & (maybe) get your money back.

Well I still have hope everything will turn out okay and will wait for one more month but can’t say I like the whole process. Matt was very responsive in the beginning but I did not get any response on my last email as well.

same here, i'm in the optimistic camp but unfortunately I asked for the whole batch to be sent as one shipment so I don't have any except for #1 (pre subscription)
