In the 1970s, Badalamenti scored a blaxploitation film, Gordon's War, under the name Andy Badale.

The stuff that is slowed down is really creepy.  For a while, you could download the entire Twin Peaks archive - nearly 10 hours - in a lossless format for under $10.  There are millions of variations of "Audrey's Dance" and the Laura Palmer theme, but there is a lot of good stuff that did not make it to the albums.

RIP. I used to work for a trumpet player who played at the Catskill Mountain resorts with Angelo, back in the day.

I just learned that Angelo Badalamenti, under the name A. Badale, cowrote several of the tracks on Jean Jacques Perrey's Moog Indigo album!
