Both of my kids grew up on those shows. In that day, Sesame Street was on three times a day on the Dallas PBS station, and we ( yes WE!) watched all three whenever possible.

I grew up watching Sesame Street and my daughter still loves it.  When it moved to HBO, they dumbed it down and several beloved cast members, including Bob McGrath, were dropped.  We watch the older episodes.  Bob McGrath always approached his role with enthusiasm and a twinkle in his eye.  RIP.

Yes! There's some backalley Roku channel that offered up a few Sing Along with Mitch shows with McGrath featured. Also in the band was Leslie Uggams.

While I was a bit too old for Sesame Street, my sister watched it all the time, and with only one TV in the house, I watched it a bit too. Looking back at it now, I realize it was "pre-school" before that was a thing and Bob McGrath was a big part of it.
